BidCraft processes account information, business profile details, customer and project information, transcripts, and estimates that users choose to provide. Payment card information is collected and handled by Stripe, not stored by BidCraft.
The microphone is used only after a user starts a recording. Users must obtain every consent required by applicable law before recording or uploading a conversation. The BidCraft database does not retain the source audio after the transcription request completes. Audio may be processed temporarily by our transcription provider according to that provider's terms.
Information is used to authenticate accounts, create transcripts and draft estimates, provide cloud backup, operate subscriptions, prevent misuse, and support customers. Service providers may process information only as needed to deliver hosting, artificial intelligence, payment, and operational services. JJ's Woodworks LLC does not sell personal information.
BidCraft records limited product and website activity to understand whether the service is working and which features are useful. This may include an anonymous browser identifier stored on the device, page visits, referral or campaign information, account creation, project creation, successful or failed AI operations, estimate exports, and subscription activity. BidCraft honors enabled browser “Do Not Track” settings. Analytics do not include audio, transcripts, customer names, customer contact information, estimate contents, or passwords. Automatic session recording is disabled. If the optional PostHog analytics service is enabled, it receives only these limited events and an internal account identifier rather than customer or project content.
Account records, transcripts, customer details, and estimates are retained while the account remains active so users can access their work. Limited analytics records may be retained to measure service reliability and business performance. To request deletion or a copy of account data, email bidcraft.support@proton.me. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, tax, payment, or legal obligations.
BidCraft uses encrypted HTTPS connections, server-side API credentials, salted password hashes, revocable sessions, and account-isolated cloud storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
